By all accounts the Coalition of Resistance Conference last Saturday was a success. Check out a sober but encouraging report on the event here.
There have also been two interesting posts on the Church and The Big Society from Anglican Priests engaged in Estates Ministry in the Diocese of Birmingham. One of our signatories Al Barrett reflects on 'Why I signed up to 'Common Wealth' and Andy Delmege, who is critical of the Common Wealth project, offers his own reflections on the Church and the Big Society in a paper for a recent Society of Sacramental Socialists meeting entitled The Role of the Church in Community Regeneration
Meanwhile Yorkshire based Christian activist Graham Martin has also blogged a report on the Coalition of Resistance Conference and has made some proposals for how the Common Wealth Network might proceed in 'Common Wealth Network - What Should it Do!'
